 Hunters
Andy PhamThe alarm clock sounded as the morning sun shone through the window. A hand appears from under the sheets reaching for the alarm clock. After successfully putting the alarm clock on snooze, a head emerged from under the sheet. A mess of black hair was attached to the head; it was in all directions considering the young lad had just woken up. This was young Allen, a somewhat normal high school student still going through the pains of life. Every day, he’d wake up and get ready for school like any other kid his age. He’d bring his books and supplies in the bag he’d always leave on his desk’s chair. Though there was one peculiar object he brought to school, a metal baseball bat. Now you would think that’s normal for someone who’s on the baseball team, but you see Allen is not. He is member of the schools very interesting animators clubs. As an artist, you wouldn’t think he’d need a bat; but that’s why he’s only somewhat normal. |

 Relay for Life
Andres MartinezThe Relay for Life is organization that helps in the fight for cancer. The Relay for Life has many sponsors, or teams. The team I was in was called Amazing Grace, lead by a lady named Grace. I came with my aunt Nidya, and my brother Sebastion. Most of the adults at Amazing Grace are workers at Kaiser Perimanta. My aunt’s friend, Maria, and here children, Emmanuel and Antonio, also came. |

Even when the rebellion was dispelled, the Han Dynasty continued to be plagued by calamities within the court. He Jin wanted to sustain the dynasty when Emperor Ling passed away. His heirs were still too young so He Jin appointed Liu Biao to substitute as ruler. With Yuan Shao's support, he planned to remove the scheming eunuchs from capital but was assassinated before he could remove them. |

The captain did a detour on an island for quick repairs to make a safe trip. All the families got off the ship to relax on the island. |

 Tôi nghe tin nhạc sĩ Phạm Duy đang lâm trọng bệnh. Những hình ảnh về một Phạm Duy bệnh hoạn đang đăng tải trên các mạng lưới truyền thông, cũng như trên các forum. Tôi chạnh một nỗi buồn, ông là một nhạc sĩ lão thành còn sót lại từ hồi tiền chiến, nay ông đã lớn tuổi và biết đâu những ngày tháng của ông ở với chúng ta không còn bao lâu, mặc dù tôi vẫn ước mong ông sẽ còn sống lâu hơn.
Tôi chỉ là một người rất trẻ tuổi so với nhạc của Phạm Duy. Ông là một thiên tài như tất cả chúng ta từng biết. Có những đêm khuya khoắt nằm buồn nơi xứ người, lắng tai nghe bài Bà Mẹ Gio Linh, Tiếng Nước Tôi, Nương Chiều, hay Con Đường Cái Quan, lúc đó chúng ta mới cảm nhận được cái tính chất nghệ sĩ và thiên tài của ông. |
